Community Development

The Community Development group looks at different activities. Examples of work this group have undertaken are: supporting the Children Road Youth Group, the CIC was successful in applying for funding for staff to keep this facility open on Friday evenings.

The group are looking at the facilities that there are for young people in Stowmarket, and are fully supportive of the Xchange project in Ipswich Street. We are working with Stowmarket Town Council to review the play areas in the Town. The CIC are supporting Stowmarket Football Club to secure funding for a new club facility.

This Group is chaired by Bob Boxall-Hunt and meets usually the last Wednesday of the month at 6.30pm.
